Sheree Robertson

Sheree Robertson

Registered Nurse | Managing Director

Occ Health South Limited was founded in 2015 by Sheree Robertson.


Sheree is a
Registered Comprehensive Nurse who was born and raised in Southland and specialises in occupational health.


In addition to occupational health Sheree has nursing experience in various areas including medical, surgical and nursing education. Sheree believes that best practice should be supported by up to date knowledge, she has supported her practice by obtaining a Bachelor of Nursing degree, Post-Graduate Diploma in Health Sciences (endorsed in Occupational Health), Diploma in Adult Education and Training, and a Master of Nursing degree.


Sheree is a member of the New Zealand Occupational Health Nurses Association and ANZSOM. Her nursing registration is maintained through the Nursing Council of New Zealand.  Sheree is the proud recipient of the 2016 primary health nursing excellence award.  Sheree has been a member of the HASANZ register, since it’s launch in July 2018.


Michelle Grant

Administrator

Michelle is a born and bred Southlander with a background in human resources and administration.

 

Joining our team in July 2021, Michelle is an integral part in supporting the team to continue delivering a high standard of quality and professionalism to our clients.

 

Michelle is available to answer all of your administration enquiries, and make appointment bookings for you and your team. Michelle works closely with Sheree and the nurses to ensure everything is running smoothly behind the scenes. 





Nicola Johnstone

Nicola Johnstone

Registered Nurse

Nicola is a Registered Comprehensive Nurse who was born and raised in Southland.

Nicola graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree in 1998, she has experience in various areas including surgical, mental health, and primary health, with eight years working in occupational health prior to joining Occ Health South.


Nicola is a qualified emergency medical technician and volunteers for St John.  Nicola is passionate about healthcare, provides current best practise, and supports her practise with up to date knowledge.


Nicola maintains her high standard of practice through regular professional development, her nursing registration is maintained through the Nursing Council of New Zealand.



Michelle Garrett

Michelle Garrett

Registered Nurse

Michelle is a Registered Comprehensive Nurse, who is Southland raised. Michelle graduated with her Bachelor of Nursing from The Southern Institute of Technology in 2008, she has ten years surgical experience, and experience as a casual clinical tutor.

Michelle is passionate about health and wellness, she is mum to two boys. Michelle’s clinical practise is supported by current best practice and up to date, relevant training.

Michelle maintains her high standard of practice through regular professional development, her nursing registration is maintained through the Nursing Council of New Zealand.


Alison Park

Kate Affleck

Registered Nurse

Kate is a Registered Comprehensive Nurse, who was born and raised in rural Southland. Kate graduated with her Bachelor of Nursing degree from The Southern Institute of Technology in 2012 after receiving the Clinical Excellence Award for her graduation class. Prior to joining Occ Health South Kate had eight years’ experience as a Surgical Nurse.


Kate is passionate about health and wellbeing, she is busy behind the scenes combining her existing skills and knowledge with the latest evidence-based, up to date, relevant training specific to Occupational Health.  


Kate maintains her high standard of practice through regular professional development, her nursing registration is maintained through the Nursing Council of New Zealand.



Megan Shaw

Registered Nurse

Megan is a Registered Comprehensive Nurse who completed her Bachelor of Nursing qualification at The Southern Institute of Technology.


Megan is committed to delivering a high standard of practice, developing and maintaining up to date skills and knowledge in Occupational Health.


Megan maintains her high standard of practice through regular professional development, her nursing registration is maintained through the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
